• Reordered and redesigned the Admin Menu to make it more intuitive.
• Better error handling and notification in the BannerAdClick.aspx page.
• Bug Fix: The Breadcrumbs were missing aspx extensions on the URL's in the href value.
• Bug Fix: If a Page was referred to by Id or Alias in conjunction with the "?id=" format, the custom 404 wouldn't be thrown.
• Disallowed the user creating a numeric-only page shortcut as it would result in an ambiguity where the code wouldn't know if it was a Page Id or a Page Alias.
• Bug Fix: In Expired Articles Report, it shows all articles even to General users (Authors).
• Added additional code that will determine if the exception is an HttpException. If so and the HTTP Code is a 404, the "page not found" URL will be displayed.
• Increment the Sheervision.Net.ExceptionNotifier.dll to "1.2.0.0".
• Added the URL property to Notifier object for the developer to specify the URL that the user is trying to display. If the exception is an HttpException, Error Code and HTTP Code error details are also displayed.
• Bug Fix: Modified the User Profile control so the Administrator could make the Newsletter Subscriber active and change other details but not change their user type to the other three built-in types.
• Add the public Mailing Lists to the Signup control so the user can signup and subscribe the mailing lists at the same time.
• Bug Fix: Fixed the UserList as it was omitting News Subscribers from being displayed.

ssCMS 2.0.2 enhancements

The following features have been added as part of the ssCMS 2.0.2 release in addition to the new ssCMS 2.0 features (see below):

• Custom 404 page - on page requests for pages that do not exist (e.g. incorrect URL or an ssCMS alias that has been changed or removed) a custom PageNotFound.aspx alias is used. This alias is configurable in the web.config so even more advanced functionality could be added using custom work.
• Page alias exclusion – in the web.config you can now specify specific page aliases that should not be shown in the Sitemap (in addition to admin pages).
• Work flow has been improved to provide more control over the initial publication status of pages and articles. By default, pages and articles are not published when they are created. A web.config setting is present for both pages and content to change this default to "auto-published". Pages are published from the "Page Properties" popup and articles are published from the "Article Editor" popup.
• All URL's generated from the system now have a "title" attribute so that they are more compliant with the XHTML and accessibility standards and are more search-engine friendly - these links include: Sitemap, Breadcrumbs, and Internal Links.

• About - more information about the software version, Sheer Vision Technologies, and other aspects of ssCMS is now available on the "About" page (only visible when logged in).
• Database - ability to house more than one ssCMS per database by utilizing a table name prefix setting in the web.config.
• Interface - more intuitive interface for content management based on feedback from our users. More extensive and informative tool tips on interface elements help new users learn the interface more rapidly. A redesigned administration menu lets you complete common editing tasks more rapidly and places more advanced functionality at your fingertips.

• Inbound RSS feeds can be completely integrated into articles.
• A full featured Newsletter: unlimited newsletters, mailing list and user management, and subscriber self maintenance.
• Rotating Banner Ad management complete with click-through statistics.
• Random content allows you to rotate featured articles on any (or every) page using a placeholder that can be located anywhere in your design (sidebar, main content area, etc.).
• Page/Article Functionality - Copy/Cut/Paste: all pages and articles can be copied/cut to other locations in the web site (including all articles on a single page at once). 
• Email this page: any visitor can email a page from the web site using a convenient form available from every page. 
• Print this page: a print-friendly display of any page on the site.
• Internal Search Engine - Result count shows how many results were returned by your search. Search terms are highlighted in the result set. 
• Search Engine Friendly - Custom content for the Keywords meta-tag can be added for each page. Friendly aliases can be assigned to every page eliminating the need for query string page Ids (these URLs are more friendly to search engines such as Google, MSN, Yahoo and more useful in email and print materials).
• SMTP authentication settings for sending mail can now include using authentication tokens for servers that support that.
• User Management - Passwords are now stored as encrypted text in the database. 
• Forgotten passwords can now be mailed to users directly from the login page.
• WYSIWYG Editors: Integrates with telerik 4.0.5.0 r.a.d.editor (must purchase) - 20% off coupon available upon request. Cute Editor for .NET 4.0.0.4 (included in the build - not for use in other projects). FreeTextBox 3.0 (included in the build - not for use in other projects).
