After logging into the administration area, the user sees their web site wrapped in our editing controls allowing them to select any article or page for editing. Users can navigate through their web site and use an administration tool bar to:

• add, edit and delete pages and articles;
• view currently published, upcoming, and expired articles; 
• publish, remove, and delete articles and set publish and expiry dates for them; and
• use all of the other features the system offers: banner ad management, news letter functionality, RSS feed integration, and more!

ssCMS offers three levels of security with an unlimited number of users at each level.

1. Administrator: has rights over all aspects of the site content and administrates user profiles
2. Author Manager: has rights over all aspects of the site content, but cannot access user profiles
3. Author: can create content but cannot publish content without approval from an Administrator or Author Manager. They can only access their own content.

Articles can be scheduled to be published (made visible to the public) on a specific date and also expired on a date in the future. Publication of articles can be limited to specific users so you can delegate content management but still control the final product.

Banner ads are still one of the primary ways that products and services are advertised on websites. Participating in a click through or affiliate program or placing your own ads on your site can often be hit or miss. To be effective you need a way to tell how much attention various ads are receiving from visitors.

The ssCMS Banner Ad Administration system gives you full control over ads and provides statistics on how often they are clicked on and when. Answer questions like:

1. How many visitors clicked on an ad during your latest ad campaign?

2. Do more people click your ads on a Monday or a Thursday?

3. How many times your ad appeared in a certain time frame?

All of this functionality is built into ssAds:

• Image and Flash ads are supported.
• The Height, Width and Ad Type are auto determined for you.
• If one ad is to be shown more often than others, you can increase its Frequency value to set this up.
• The ads can have Start and End dates.
• Built-in reports show many valuable statistics:
  Statistics and Averages report - Shows Clicks, Impressions and detailed performance for a selected ad.
  Status report - Shows the status of ads: expired, upcoming, current, etc.
  Performance report - Lists all ads ranked from best to worst performance.

ssNews is a web based eNewsletter product that integrates with ssCMS. Keeping your site content current is essential, getting people to visit your site is equally important. Using ssNews, you can notify your visitors of new products, services, etc. Note: Only available in purchased versions.

RSS feeds are a source of valuable content published on other web sites that can be imported into your own. You can even add your own custom content to the page.
